Directions To Brockenhurst, Hamshire.

From North and EAST

Leave M27 at Junction 1.

Left after exit slip (dual carriageway). Get in right hand lane and turn right at Cadnam roundabout. Follow signs for Lyndhurst (A337).

This will lead you to traffic lights in Lyndhurst. Turn left at the traffic lights into the one-way-system. Bear right at the end of the High Street (oppostie Ferrari garage) * and keep in left lane as one-way-system continues. Follow signs for Brockenhurst (Still A337).

As you come into Brockenhurst there are 30 mph signs, then on left Balmer Lawn Hotel which is set back from road with large grassed area in front. Over small river bridge and continue for a few hundred yards. On the left is Careys Manor Hotel. Opposite is Grigg Lane (B3055). Turn right into Grigg Lane over cattle grid and continue a few hundred yards until you see Horlock Road on right. Turn right into Horlock Road and at T-junction turn right again into Fathersfield. Poppy cottage (No. 2) is on left just before bend.

Alternative Route

At busy times the above route through Lyndhurst High Street can cause some delays. To avoid the High Street you could exit M27 at Junction 3 and take the M271 towards Southampton. At end of M271 (a short distance) pick up A35 at roundabout and follow signs to Lyndhurst. This will bring you into Lyndhurst at other end of High Street (with Ferrari garage on right). Turn left into one-way-system and follow the route from * above.
